Terms of Use
Last updated: May 31, 2026
These Terms of Use are a starting template and are not legal advice. Please have them reviewed and finalized with qualified legal counsel before launch.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wallens website at wallens.app and the application at my.wallens.app (together, the "Service"), provided by Wallens ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using Wallens you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Your account
You access Wallens by signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs under your Wallens account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. The Service
Wallens is a personal finance tool that lets you record and view accounts, balances, transactions, bills, income, budgets, and what-if scenarios that you enter yourself. Wallens does not connect to financial institutions, move money, or execute transactions, and the figures it displays reflect the data you provide.
4. Not financial advice
Wallens is a tool for organizing and visualizing your own financial information. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing in the Service should be relied on as such. You are responsible for your own financial decisions and for verifying the accuracy of the information you enter. For advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as permitted by law.
- Upload malicious code or use the Service to harm others.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the financial data and other content you enter into Wallens ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. We handle Your Content as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logo, and the Wallens name, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without our prior written permission.
8. Availability and changes
Wallens is offered on an ongoing basis but may change, and we may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We may also suspend or limit the Service for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons. We aim to provide reasonable notice of material changes where practical.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figures or projections it displays are accurate or complete.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wallens and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or financial outcomes, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal liability. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
